Library Hours

Library Services

• Reading room facility is available from 10.00 am-6.00 pm on all working days.
• Library remains closed on Public Holidays.
• All Teaching and non-teaching staff members and students are members of the Library.
• Students can borrow 1 book at a time for 10(ten) days. Renewal or submission is obligatory before or on the due date.
• All teaching staff including Librarian are allowed to lend a maximum of 2 books from the library. However, holding of books for more than 15 days, renewal is obligatory.
• Xerox Services is on paid basis.

Loss of library books

• In case of loss of a Library book, the latest edition of the lost book is to be replaced in the library.
• Decisions on out-of-print books will be taken by the Library Committee.
• Borrowed books are to be returned before collecting semester results. No Mark sheet will be issued unless library clearance is issued by the library staff.

General Rules

• ID- Card’ is compulsory for all enrolled students to avail of library facilities.
• Personal belongings need to be kept outside the Library Premises in the locker at their own risk.
• Other than Library materials, are not allowed in the Library Reading Area. No restrictions on Laptop, Mobile, or Notebook. For taking personal books inside the library, students must verify it from the Library In charge.
• Reference books, Journals, and magazines can be used within the library reading room only.
• Usage of the Internet should be only for course-related material content, if anybody is found surfing any offensive content he/she will be banned from using the Internet with immediate effect..
• Usage of pen drive will be under Librarian permission.
• In case of any grievances students can put complaints/suggestions in the box kept outside the library security personnel.
• Security may check in the gate while leaving out from the library if necessary.

The library rules framed above are subject to change from time to time as when the Library Committee deems it necessary to reframe the same.
